Pick a book in your favorite genre that you’d recommend to a reluctant reader.
Right now I´m really into the dystopian genre. So I´d either recommend The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins or The Giver by Lois Lowry. Both are fantastic reads and will surely get everyone into reading.
Yay, The Hunger Games! I love that book so much, it's what introduced me to dystopia and now I can't stop reading the genre. I haven't read The Giver yet, although I think all of my friends have, odd considering I'm the book obsessed one in the group...

ReplyDeletebecause they're not that "girly and romantic" haha.
Have you seen the Catching Fire movie? I thought it was way better than
the Hunger Games haha.

Catching fire was my favourite book in the series and I was so glad when the movie turned out to be just as good :)
DeleteWeee! Both books belong to my all time favorites. I've already completed the THG trilogy. As for the Giver, I still need to read the fourth book, Son, to complete the quartet.

I've read both, and for some reason I just didn't find The Giver that good. If you like Dystopian books you should read the one I posted on my FF, if you haven't already. Its really good,
